Dr Chen Shuyu is a Consultant at the Department of Geriatric Medicine, Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Her core area of practice focuses on the comprehensive, multidisciplinary care of older adults. She is also a clinical tutor and faculty for NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and LKC Medicine.

Dr Chen’s special interests include falls and balance disorders in older adults, as well as ortho-geriatrics and fragility fracture care. In the outpatient setting, Dr Chen runs a dedicated falls subspeciality clinic.

Dr Chen graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Monash University, Australia. She then obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom and the Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from the National University of Singapore.

Dr Chen believes in delivering compassionate, patient-centred care that prioritizes dignity, independence and helps older adults stay steady, supported and smiling through the years.
