Biodata
Dr Liew Pui Mun is a Family Physician and Deputy Head of NHG Ang Mo Kio Polyclinic. She cares for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, focusing on preventive medicine and patient-centered care.
Dr Liew completed postgraduate training, earning her Master of Medicine in Family Medicine (MMed) and the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (GDFM). She is also a Member of the College of Family Physicians Singapore (MCFP).
As a clinical tutor at NTU’s Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and NUS’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Dr Liew mentors medical students in patient-centred communication, evidence-based practice, and continuity of care. She also actively participates in postgraduate training programmes, including the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (GDFM) and Master of Medicine (Family Medicine).
Dr Liew actively contributes to the Cardiology Specialty Advisory Group (SAG). She participates in developing Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) on cardiology practices and primary care-related cardiology initiatives.
Committed to healthy ageing, Dr Liew leads and supports frailty-focused research and initiatives. Her work involves early detection, risk stratification, and personalised care plans to protect strength, mobility, and independence among older adults, aiming to enhance eldercare standards in Singapore.
