Dr Chen Sixian is a Family Physician at NHG Yishun Polyclinic. Dr Chen graduated from Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2014. He subsequently completed postgraduate family medicine training by attaining Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2018 and Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) in 2024. He is accredited by the Family Physician Accreditation Board as a Family Physician since 2018.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr Chen is a passionate educator and mentor. He serves as an adjunct faculty tutor for Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) College Programme with the College of Family Physicians Singapore and contributes actively to the training of future Family Physicians. He is also involved in the teaching of medical students from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, ensuring the next generation of doctors are well-equipped to deal with the future challenges of healthcare.

He has a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions and sports medicine and is a member of the NHG Polyclinics Specialty Advisory Group for Orthopedics and Rheumatology.

In recognition of his contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr Chen was awarded the COVID-19 Resilience award in 2023.
