Dr Koon Sze Yun Vanessa is a Family Physician, Associate Consultant at NHG Kallang Polyclinic. She graduated from National University of Singapore Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine with an MBBS degree in 2014 and subsequently completed postgraduate training in Family Medicine in 2018, obtaining her Master of Medicine (Family Medicine). As a healthcare professional, Dr Koon is a member of the Singapore Medical Council and the College of Family Physicians Singapore.

She is strongly committed to holistic patient care, and she currently serves as the second-in-charge for the Gastroenterology Specialty Advisory Group (SAG).

Dr Koon is also a passionate educator. She serves as a clinical tutor at both the National University of Singapore Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Nanyang Technological University of Singapore Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, contributing actively to training future medical professionals.

Recognizing her dedication to medical education, Dr Koon received the NHG Junior Doctor Teaching Award in 2021, reflecting her commitment to nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals.
