Dr Foo Shao Rong, Jonathan is a Family Physician at NHG Hougang Polyclinic. He graduated from the University of Manchester with a MB ChB (Hons) degree in 2013 and subsequently completed postgraduate training in Family Medicine (FCFPS) in 2024.

With a strong commitment to patient care, he has developed a keen interest in healthcare innovation, quality improvement, diabetic foot care, and primary care mental health, making significant contributions to these fields.

As a distinguished expert, Dr Foo is a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians Singapore.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr Foo is a passionate educator and mentor. He serves as an associate teaching faculty member at NUS YLLSoM and NTU LKCMed, and contributes actively to training future medical professionals. He is also involved as a clinical faculty member in NHG Polyclinics’ residency programme, ensuring the next generation of healthcare professionals are well-equipped.

Recognising his outstanding contributions to public healthcare, Dr Foo received the NHG Young Achiever award in 2024. This recognition reflects his dedication to advancing medical excellence and improving patient outcomes.
