Dr Tan Lye Yoong is a Family Physician, Associate Consultant at NHG Toa Payoh Polyclinic. Dr Tan graduated from the University of Malaya with an MBBS and subsequently completed Master in Medicine (Family Medicine) from National University of Singapore in 2020.

She is an accredited Family Physician with interest in chronic diseases, geriatric care with a focus on frailty screening and intervention, kidney disease and palliative care. She is also actively involved in teaching as Faculty Member (Clinical Skills) for Master in Medicine (Family Medicine) College of Family Physician Programme and Clinical Tutor for medical students from NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. She is also involved in patient safety and service quality.

In recognition of her contributions to public healthcare, Dr Tan has been awarded the National Awards (COVID-19) Commendation Medal and Resilience Award in year 2022.
