Dr Andrew Lee Yew Weng is a Family Physician and Associate Consultant at NHG Yishun Polyclinic. He graduated from the National University of Ireland with an MB, BCh, BAO in 2008 and subsequently obtained his Membership with the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) in 2012. He earned his Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2017 and completed his Master of Medicine (MMed) in Family Medicine in 2019. Dr Andrew is a member of the College of Family Physicians and has been recognised with a Long Service Award.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr Andrew has been actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. He has served as a mentor in Family Medicine since 2019 and is a Clinical Tutor for undergraduate students in the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and the National University of Singapore. His dedication to education has been acknowledged with the LKC Medicine Special Recognition Award for Campus Tutor and House Teacher (2023–2024) for his significant contributions to undergraduate teaching.

Dr Andrew is deeply committed to delivering person-centred care. He was recognised with the iCare Champions Star Category Award in 2021 and the iCare Champions Silver Category Award in 2023, in appreciation of the quality care he has provided to his patients.

He has also played a key role in quality improvement initiatives in NHG. In 2024, he received both the NHG Polyclinics Quality Improvements Champion Award and the NHG Quality Day Excellence in Action Award. He currently serves as a CPIP Project Facilitator, a role he has held since 2024.

In addition, Dr Andrew is a member of the Infectious Disease Specialty Advisory Group in NHG Polyclinics. He also holds leadership positions as the Deputy Head of NHG Yishun Polyclinic and Co-Chairperson of the Khatib-Yishun Patient Advisory Council.
