Dr Victoria Leung Muk Yan is a Family Physician, Associate Consultant at NHG Ang Mo Kio Polyclinic with an extensive experience in primary and community-based healthcare. She graduated from NUS with a MBBS degree in 2011, and subsequently completed postgraduate training in Family Medicine under the residency program in 2015. She attained the MMed in Family medicine in 2015 and has been a Board-certified family physician on the SMC register since 2016. She has a strong interest in geriatric care and dementia and is committed to achieving clinical excellence. To further enhance her expertise, she was awarded the HMDP Fellowship Programme, which allowed her to complete an advanced clinical attachment in geriatric mental health at St. Vincent’s Health Service, Melbourne in 2023. She is empathetic and professional and is a dedicated leader in a Teamlet-based model of continuing patient care, pushing for consistently greater quality and personalised consultations, given evolving patient needs. In addition, she is a member of the Neurology Specialty Advisory Group in NHG Polyclinics involved in publishing best practice care guidelines. Beyond clinical practice, Dr Leung is a passionate educator and mentor. She serves as a Physician Faculty in the Family Medicine residency program and contributes actively to training future medical professionals.
