Dr Yeap Youwen is a Family Physician currently practising at NHG Hougang Polyclinic. He completed his MBBS from the University of Adelaide and has since acquired several postgraduate qualifications, including the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine, Master of Medicine (Family Medicine), and Graduate Diploma in Family Practice Dermatology. He further advanced his expertise by obtaining his membership in the College of Family Physicians Singapore (MCFS) and Fellowship of the College of Family Physicians Singapore (FCFP(S)).

In his academic role, Dr Yeap serves as a clinical tutor at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, NTU and National University Singapore School of Medicine. He has taken on leadership responsibilities as the Specialty Advisory Group (SAG) lead in Dermatology, Haematology, and Emergency Medicine at his institution.
