Dr Tan Pei Fen is a Family Physician, Associate Consultant at NHG Hougang Polyclinic. She graduated from National University of Malaysia with an MD degree in 2009 and subsequently completed postgraduate training in Family Medicine (MMED, NUS) in 2015. She is an accredited Family Physician.

With a strong commitment to patient care, she has developed a keen interest in Geriatric Medicine and Tele-ECG services, making significant contributions to these fields. Her expertise in Tele-ECG has contributed to improving healthcare delivery and accessibility. As a healthcare professional, Dr Tan is a member of the College of Family Physicians Singapore, demonstrating her commitment to maintaining high standards in family medicine practice.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr Tan is a passionate educator and mentor. She serves as a Clinical Tutor at both the National University of Singapore and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, contributing actively to training future medical professionals. She is involved in postgraduate training, ensuring the next generation of medical professionals is well-equipped.

Recognizing her contributions to public healthcare, Dr Tan has received multiple awards, including the NHG Team Recognition Award in 2017 for her work in Tele-ECG collaboration and the NHG Excellence in Action Award in 2024 for the Tele-AF collaborative. These recognitions reflect her dedication to advancing medical excellence and improving patient outcomes through innovative healthcare solutions.
