Biodata

Dr Tan Khai Wei is a Family Physician, Consultant practising at NHG Toa Payoh Polyclinic. He graduated from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS) with an MBBS in 2009. He subsequently completed postgraduate training in Family Medicine in 2013 and was conferred the Fellowship for Family Medicine in 2022 by the College of Family Physicians, Singapore.

He heads the department of Quality and Patient Safety at NHG Polyclinics. His areas of interest are in clinical quality and patient safety, and the Ensure Safer Systems (ESS) programme with Joint Commission International (JCI) and MOH. He is also a keen advocate of quality improvement and is an Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI) improvement advisor.

His clinical interest is in Heart Failure and he is the co-chair of the MOH-ACE Appropriate and Value-Based Care (AVBC) Workgroup for Congestive Heart Failure.
