Biodata

Dr Teh Kailin is a Family Physician, Consultant at NHG Kallang Polyclinic. She graduated from the National University of Singapore with an MBBS in 2008 and completed postgraduate training in Family Medicine in 2014. She is accredited by the Family Physicians Accreditation Board.

As a recognized expert in Family Medicine, Dr Teh is a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians Singapore. She has served as Assistant Programme Director for the NHG Family Medicine Residency Program, contributing to postgraduate training and the development of assessment and evaluation frameworks for resident education. In undergraduate teaching, she is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and a Clinical Teacher at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. Committed to continuous improvement, she regularly undertakes training in health professions education to enhance her effectiveness as a teacher and educational leader.

Throughout her career, Dr Teh has taken on leadership roles. As Assistant Director of Family Medicine Development at NHG Polyclinics, she has led efforts to advance clinical education, faculty development, and mentoring. Her work includes initiatives to strengthen postgraduate training and continuing education, such as examination preparation programs and educational forums.

Dr Teh has a special interest in women’s health, particularly in strengthening services within the primary care setting. In line with this focus, she served on the Cervical Screen Singapore Advisory Committee to support national cervical cancer screening efforts. She also represents NHG Polyclinics in cluster-level women’s and children’s health committees that advance collaborative, system-level care.
