Dr. Kung Jian Ming is a Family Physician, Associate Consultant at NHG Yishun Polyclinic. He graduated from the National University of Singapore with a MBBS in 2007 and subsequently obtained his Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2010 and Master of Medicine (MMed) in Family Medicine in 2017. He is a member of the College of Family Physicians.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr Kung has played active roles in teaching and mentoring in Family Medicine, including holding roles as Faculty Tutor IC of the Professional Writing and Communications Faculty of the MMed (Family Medicine) College of Family Physicians Program since 2019 and being an examiner for various undergraduate and postgraduate FM examinations.

To further enhance his expertise, Dr Kung was awarded the Healthcare Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) award in 2023 to study Primary Palliative Care in the United Kingdom.

In the area of leadership, Dr. Kung has taken on key administrative roles, including the implementation of Healthier SG, the development of a social-health integration program for complex patients with community providers, and various multi-disciplinary initiatives to improve patient care. Dr. Kung is also a recipient of the NHG Team Recognition award (Gold) in 2022, the COVID-19 Commendation Medical in 2023 and the NHG Innovate Award (Gold) in 2024.
