Dr Wan Jinhui is a Family Physician and Consultant at NHG Serangoon Polyclinic. He graduated from National University of Singapore with an MBBS in 2006. He subsequently completed postgraduate training in Family Medicine and was accredited both Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) in 2015 and Fellow of the College of Family Physicians Singapore (FCFPS) in 2018.

As part of his professional development, Dr Wan Jinhui also completed other postgraduate programmes successfully, namely Graduate Diploma in Mental Health (GDMH), Family Practice Dermatology (GD FP Derm), Sports Medicine (GDSM) and Palliative Medicine (GDPM). He has a special interest in insomnia and common mental health disorders, striving to enhance patient care in this field.

Passionate about education and mentorship, he currently serves as a Core Faculty member with the NHG Family Medicine Residency. Additionally, he contributes to medical education as an examiner for Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (GDFM) and is actively involved in mentoring medical students as Clinical Teacher, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.

Throughout his career, Dr Wan Jinhui has taken on clinical lead for NHG Polyclinics Psychiatry Specialty Advisory Group. Currently, he is the Co-chairperson of Insomnia Expert Group and is actively involved in the development and adoption of national clinical guidelines on insomnia.

In recognition of his contributions to public healthcare, Dr Wan Jinhui has received the Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) Award in 2020 and underwent observership at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne on children’s health and wellbeing. He has been awarded the NHG Teaching Award for Senior Doctors in 2024 and OurCare Quality Improvement Champion Award 2022/2023.
