Dr ManojKumar Amarlal Kharbanda is the Consultant Family Physician at NHG Sembawang Polyclinic. Dr Kharbanda graduated from Mumbai University with an MBBS in 1998. He subsequently completed his postgraduate training in Family Medicine with a Master of Medicine in 2013 and is accredited by the Family Medicine Accreditation Board (FMAB) as a Family Physician.
As part of his professional development, Dr Kharbanda was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) Medical Award in 2017, which enabled him to study "Community Engagement and Management of Diabetes in Primary Care" in London. He has a special interest in chronic care, particularly in Diabetes and Osteoporosis management, and has been serving as a member of NHG Polyclinics Endocrine Specialty Advisory Group (SAG) since 2014.
A recognised expert in Family Medicine, Dr Kharbanda is a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians, Singapore (FCFPS, 2016) and Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS, 2018). Passionate about education and mentorship, he serves as a GDFM Tutor at the College of Family Physician since 2014 and is involved in preparing NHG Polyclinics doctors for academic examinations.
Throughout his career, Dr Kharbanda has taken on key leadership roles, currently serving as the Deputy Chief Clinical Informatics Officer (CCIO) for NHG Polyclinics. In this role, he has been instrumental in managing IT systems in NHG Polyclinics, implementing and optimizing electronic Medical records (NGEMR).
Dr Kharbanda has been registered with the Singapore Medical Council since 2004 and has been an active member of the College of Family Physician, Singapore since 2012, demonstrating his long-standing commitment to healthcare in Singapore.
