Dr Evan Sim serves as Family Physician, Principal Staff at NHG Geylang Polyclinic. He obtained his MBBS from the University of Melbourne in 1995 and enhanced his expertise with a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (2004) and Sport Medicine (2019). 

Through the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP), he completed advanced clinical attachments at the University of Alberta, Canada (2008) and INSEAD Singapore (2012). His professional interests encompass Sports Medicine and Health Management, areas in which he has made notable contributions.

For his leadership and administrative roles, Dr Sim has held significant leadership positions, serving as Head of NHG Clementi Polyclinic (2004-2011) and NHG Woodlands Polyclinic (2014-2022). He played a pivotal role in implementing the electronic medical record system across NHG Polyclinics. Currently, he oversees change management for EMR systems and new rollouts, including the National Billing System and National Health Integrated Pharmacy System.

At the national level, Dr Sim contributes to civil emergency response planning and yellow fever vaccination programs across Singapore's healthcare institutions. Within NHG Health, he chairs the Exercise Workgroup and serves as a key member of the Physical Health and Rehabilitation Steering Committee.
