Biodata

Dr Lee Mun Tuck is a Family Physician with a career in both clinical practice and medical education. He obtained his MBBS from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1988, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Medicine in 2003 and a Master of Medicine in Family Medicine in 2006, also from NUS.

Dr Lee began his career in private general practice, where he served the community as a general practitioner from 1993 to 2006. In 2007, he joined the NHG Polyclinics, to further his opportunities for teaching. Over the years, he was involved in training and mentoring future generations of family physicians.

From 2008 to 2021, Dr Lee served as an advisor to the GDFM/MMed committee at NHG Polyclinics and held various educational roles, including being a GDFM tutor, examiner, and in-house trainer for the MMed (Family Medicine) programme. He was also a core faculty member of the NHG Family Medicine Residency Programme from 2011 to 2021. He continues to be involved in undergraduate education to this day.

In addition to his educational contributions, Dr Lee held leadership roles within NHG Polyclinics, serving as Assistant Director of the Family Medicine Division (2008–2021) and the Primary Care Academy (2008–2019). His efforts extended into specialty areas as well, including his involvement in the mental health SAG group (2006–2017) and as Lead SAG for Eye/ENT from 2018 to 2021.

Dr Lee’s commitment to professional development included a five-week Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) attachment to the Renal Departments at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and Westmead Hospital in Sydney in 2012. He was part of the Ministry of Health’s Clinical Practice Guidelines committee on ENT cancers in 2007.
