Biodata

Dr Yeo Tun Hang is the Deputy Head of Ophthalmology and Lead Consultant for Vitreoretinal Service at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH). He is also a Visiting Consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). He specialises in surgical retina, medical retina, cataracts and general ophthalmology.

Dr Yeo completed medical school at the University of Western Australia, Perth. He returned to Singapore for Ophthalmology residency training at TTSH. He was awarded Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) by the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2016 and subsequently attained Fellowship with the Academy of Medicine (Singapore) in 2019.

Dr Yeo was previously appointed the Dr Eddie Donaldson Vitreoretinal Fellow at Sydney Eye Hospital, Australia, a quaternary ophthalmology referral centre, where his subspecialty training focused on a wide range of retinal surgeries. He is an elected Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in the United Kingdom. The College awarded him the prestigious Elizabeth Hunt Medal in 2017.

Dr Yeo holds teaching positions at both the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University and the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. He serves as Senior Clinical Lecturer at NUS and is the Ophthalmology Teaching Lead for NUS medical students at KTPH.
