Dr Eugene Yang Weiren is a senior neurosurgeon at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in Singapore. His expertise in the field of neurosurgery includes the diagnosis, treatment, and management of neurological and spinal disorders. His clinical practice encompasses a wide range of neurosurgical conditions, including brain and spinal cord tumours, vascular anomalies, trauma, and degenerative spine diseases.
Dr Yang's educational journey began with a bachelor's degree from the National University Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of medicine followed by a master's in medicine. He spent part of his neurosurgery specialist training in the prestigious Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge University UK. His advanced skills and extensive knowledge have been honed through rigorous clinical practice and continuous professional development.
Dr Yang is proficient in utilising the latest neurosurgical techniques and technologies, including minimally invasive procedures and advanced imaging-guided surgeries, to enhance patient outcomes.
