Dr Yang's educational journey began with a bachelor's degree from the National University Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of medicine followed by a master's in medicine. He spent part of his neurosurgery specialist training in the prestigious Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge University UK.
