Biodata
Dr Wong graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1990 and obtained her postgraduate specialist training in Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery and Trauma in 1998 and 2004. She has been a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon for almost 20 years and enjoys treating patients with various orthopaedic conditions, particularly in the area of Shoulder, Sports and Hand Surgery. Dr Wong completed her Fellowship training in Melbourne, focusing on these conditions, from 2005 to 2006.
She is also a keen Clinical Educator, having been appointed the Clinical Education Lead (Medical) for Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) until 2020. She currently holds appointments as Adjunct Associate Professor with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Because of her interest in the arts and humanities, especially with respect to medicine, she obtained her Graduate Diploma in Expressive Arts Therapy in 2024.
