Biodata
Dr Natalie Wee graduated with first-class honours in Psychology from University College London in 2011 before obtaining her Doctor of Medicine from Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore in 2016. Her academic excellence was recognised with the Singapore Medical Association-Lee Foundation Achievement Prize, awarded for achieving the highest score in the final MD examinations. In 2018, she attained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (London) and a Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from Singapore.
Dr Wee completed her specialist training in Geriatric Medicine through the NHG Health Senior Residency Programme, where she served as Chief Resident and was accredited as a specialist in 2023. Currently, as an Associate Consultant at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, she is dedicated to enhancing the health and quality of life of elderly patients, particularly through her involvement in the cognition team specialising in dementia care.
Dr Wee is committed to advancing care for the ageing population through both clinical practice and research. Her special clinical interests encompass dementia, community care and gerontechnology, aiming to advance dementia care in the community through technology and innovation.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr Wee is actively involved in research and has successfully led projects as a principal investigator. Her research focuses on integrating advanced data science techniques into healthcare systems, enabling more precise and individualised care for elderly patients, particularly in the context of dementia.
