Biodata

Dr Wang Yi Liang graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2012, where he was awarded the Wong Poi Kwong Gold Medal in Clinical Medicine. He completed his surgical training with the NHG Health (NHG) General Surgery Residency Programme in 2020, having served as Chief Resident from 2019 to 2020. In 2021, he was elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore.

Dr Wang currently serves as a Core Clinical Faculty Member of the NHG General Surgery Residency Programme. He is a Clinical Lecturer in Surgery with the National University of Singapore and an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer with the Nanyang Technological University. He was awarded the NHG Health Teaching Excellence Award (Postgraduate) in 2023. His clinical interests include hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography.
