A/Prof. Terence Tang is a practicing physician in the Department of Geriatric Medicine at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, where he continues to dedicate his expertise to the care of older adults in the practice of geriatric medicine.

As the Group Chief Clinical Informatics Officer for NHG Health, A/Prof Tang advises on technology in healthcare. He was involved in deploying the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and works in the field of Clinical Informatics. He was involved in establishing the Group Health Informatics (GHI), an entity that governs, develops, and informs the cluster on technology use.

A/Prof Tang earned his medical degree from the University of Singapore and holds a Master's in Internal Medicine from the Royal College of Medicine (UK). He is also an accredited specialist in Geriatric Medicine with the Specialist Accreditation Board, and he is involved in medical education.
