Biodata

Dr Tan graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2010. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) in 2015 and obtained his Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from the National University of Singapore in 2016. He completed his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology with the NHG Health, and attained specialist accreditation in Endocrinology in 2019.

Dr Tan was awarded the Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) fellowship by the Ministry of Health, Singapore, to pursue further training in diabetic kidney disease at the Department of Diabetes, Monash University and The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. During this time, he was involved in clinical work and research in diabetic kidney disease and diabetes-related complications.
