Dr Tan is a Chemical Pathologist. He obtained his medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 2014 and his Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine from the same institution in 2018. He holds Fellowships from the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, the Australasian Association for Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine, and the Academy of Medicine Singapore.
