Dr Shella Tan graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 2009. She gained her experience in General Dentistry working at NHG Health Polyclinics and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital from 2009 to 2012. Dr Tan pursued further training in Periodontology at the National University of Singapore and obtained her Master of Dental Surgery (Periodontology) in 2015. She subsequently became a Singapore Dental Specialists Accreditation Board certified Periodontist in 2019.

Dr Tan currently serves as a Consultant Periodontist at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) and is a Visiting Consultant to Tan Tock Seng Hospital Dental.
