Patient safety, personalised care and honesty are priorities for Dr Sylvia Tay in her work. Her scope of practice ranges from corrective jaw surgeries and wisdom teeth removal to dental implants. She has honed her skills in public health institutions with significant patient volumes. She believes that proficient teamwork is crucial to achieving good patient outcomes.

She has served as the Chairman of the Dental Specialist Accreditation Committee for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Independent Consultant of the NHG Health Domain Specific Review Board. She is currently a Content Expert and Clinical Teacher at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
