Dr Sha Yang obtained her Bachelor in Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore (NUS). She pursued further training and received her Master of Dental Surgery in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from NUS.

Dr Sha has served in various public health institutions, including Woodlands Polyclinic, Health Promotion Board, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and National University Hospital. She is currently an Associate Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. She has particular clinical interests in orthognathic surgeries, craniofacial implantology, facial aesthetics and reconstructions.​
