Dr Claude Renaud trained in General Nephrology at National University hospital 2003-2006 and did a Health Manpower Development Program scholarship in vascular access interventions and doppler sonography at Clinique Ambroise Pare St Gatien in Tours and Hopital Europeen in Paris France 2009-2010. He also completed a Masters in Health Professions Education at University of Maastricht 2016-2018 and Certificate in Healthcare Ethics and Law from National University Singapore 2023.

He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Ethics consultant at KTPH as well as serving as core faculty at NHG Health's ACGME Nephrology advanced training program.
