Professor Wilfred Peh was former Head of Diagnostic Radiology department at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Alexandra Hospital. He is a Clinical Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS). He held prestigious teaching positions including Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Hong Kong and Chief Examiner for the Master of Medicine (Diagnostic Radiology) at NUS from 2002 to 2023. He chaired the NUS MMed (Diagnostic Radiology) Committee from 2007 to 2023 and organised the conjoint Final MMed (NUS)-FRCR part B (UK) examinations in Singapore from 2011 to 2023. He was the Founding President of the Asian Musculoskeletal Society (1999-2003) and former President of the Asian-Pacific Association of Medical Journal Editors (2016-2018).

Professor Peh served as Editor of the Singapore Medical Journal for three terms (2004-2009) and is currently an Advisor. He was past Editor of Proceedings of Singapore Healthcare and Founding Editor of the Hong Kong Journal of Radiology. He is Senior Editor of the British Journal of Radiology and his Editorial Board service encompasses 30 journals, including Radiology, American Journal of Roentgenology, Skeletal Radiology and Seminars in Musculoskeletal Radiology.

His numerous awards include the Inaugural Radiological Society of North America Editorial Fellowship (1998), ASEAN Association of Radiology Visiting Professorship (2000, 2001), International Skeletal Society President's Medal (2023), Japanese Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology Katayama Lectureship (2007), Singapore Medical Association Merit Award (2010), Royal Belgian Society of Radiology Honorary Membership (2010), Musculoskeletal Society of India Karkala Subbarao Oration (2017), Singapore Radiological Society–College of Radiologists Singapore FY Khoo Memorial Lectureship (2017), Singapore Ministry of Health Distinguished Senior Clinician Award (2017), Musculoskeletal Society of India Honorary Life Membership (2018), Philippine Association of Medical Journal Editors Presidential Citation Award (2020), Singapore Radiological Society-College of Radiologists Singapore Lifetime Achievement Award (2022), and Vietnamese Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology Honorary Life Membership (2024). He was conferred the PPA(G) by the President, Republic of Singapore on National Day 2021.

Professor Peh has authored 12 books, 85 book chapters and 534 journal publications, and has delivered 1,004 invited lectures worldwide. He has chaired numerous scientific writing workshops, radiology examination preparation courses, musculoskeletal radiology teaching courses and international radiology congresses, including the 32nd Annual Scientific Meeting and Refresher Course of the International Skeletal Society in Singapore (2005). As Asian organiser for the International Skeletal Society Regional Outreach Programme (2003-2016), he organised 18 musculoskeletal radiology workshops for young radiologists throughout Asia.
