A/Prof David Loke undertook his Rhinology fellowship in Zurich, Switzerland. He is also a passionate educator and currently serves as Adjunct Associate Professor for Lee Kong Chian Medical School at NTU and Adjunct Assistant Professor for Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at NUS. He serves as an examiner in both universities as well as in the exam standard setting for the ENT residency exit examination. In recognition to his contributions to education, he has been awarded numerous teaching excellence awards in both undergraduate and post graduate training.

He was a member of the MOH workgroup to publish the ACE clinical guidance on CT/MRI for headache in 2022. He was also part of ENT Residency Advisory Committee governing ENT specialist training and was the secretary for the Chapter of Otolaryngology in the Academy of Medicine.

He served as the Head of Department of ENT for 2 terms and Chair for YH Accreditation & Credentialling committee for 4 terms.
