Dr Grace specialises in caring for older adults who have experienced traumatic injuries. This role combines knowledge of Geriatrics - focusing on the unique medical, psychological, and social needs of elderly patients - with expertise in trauma care. She is experienced at evaluating elderly patients for injuries that may not be immediately apparent, while coordinating care for existing conditions that can complicate recovery from trauma. Routinely, her work involves collaboration with Surgeons, Rehabilitation Specialists, Social Workers and Nurses to create comprehensive care plans. She has taken care of very elderly patients who have undergone surgeries safely with good outcomes after rehabilitation. Also, she is interested in strategy implementation and public education for fall and injury prevention.
