Adjunct Assistant Professor Lekha Gopal is a Senior Consultant at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. She completed her postgraduate training at Sankara Nethralaya, Medical Research Foundation in Chennai, India. She was a Gold Medallist in Ophthalmology during her undergraduate studies at Bangalore Medical College. She trained in Medical Retina at Sankara Nethralaya and was a Senior Consultant there before moving to Singapore. Her special interests are age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
