Adj Asst Prof Lee Yao Zong is a consultant with the Colorectal Service, Department of General Surgery at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012 and completed his surgical residency training with NHG Health. He was registered as an accredited specialist surgeon in 2019 and has recently completed his advanced minimally invasive surgery Colorectal fellowship training in China Medical University Hospital (CMUH), Taiwan.Adj Asst Prof Lee also has an interest in geriatric surgical care. He works with the Hospital Geriatric Surgical Service on perioperative evaluation strategies for elderly individuals scheduled for major surgeries. He holds teaching appointments with the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and the NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, and serves as core faculty in the NHG Health General Surgery Residency Programme.
