Dr Tse is a clinical microbiologst who completed his medical and specialist training in Hong Kong, and joined Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in 2022. Since then, he has participated in the supervision and management of the Microbiology and Molecular Diagnostics sections in the laboratory.

He is also involved in activities related to emergency preparedness, infection control and antibiotic stewardship at the hospital level. Additionally, Dr Tse holds appointments in national committees related to antimicrobial resistance and infectious diseases.
