Dr Chee is a Consultant at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He completed his undergraduate studies at Cardiff University in the United Kingdom in 2013. Dr Chee went on to complete his postgraduate residency training in Ophthalmology under the Ministry of Health Training Award, during which he served as Chief Resident. He obtained his Masters in Medicine (Ophthalmology) from the National University of Singapore in 2020 and successfully completed his Ophthalmology specialist examination in 2022. Dr Chee is currently a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophtalmologist(United Kingdom). Dr Chee completed his glaucoma fellowship with the Natioanl Healthcare Group Eye Institute at Tan Tock Seng Hospital from 2022 to 2024.

Dr Chee has a keen interest in clinical research and authored sceintific papers in numerous peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Chee is currently a Clinical Lecturer with the National University of Singapore and Clinical Teacher with the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.
