Biodata

Dr Benjamin Lazenby Jones is a UK-trained Consultant Radiologist with subspecialist expertise in Interventional Radiology and Upper Gastrointestinal Imaging. He graduated from University College London Medical School and completed specialist Radiology training at the Mersey School of Radiology. In 2017, he became a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists.

He undertook Interventional Radiology Fellowship training at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Changi General Hospital, Singapore. During this time, he gained expertise in vascular and non-vascular Interventional procedures as well as Upper Gastrointestinal diagnostic imaging.

Dr Jones previously held a substantive Diagnostic and Interventional Consultant appointment at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He advised on Upper Gastrointestinal Tumour Board meetings and served as Head of Department for Medical Imaging for three years.

He has an interest in anatomy and medical education. His educational roles have included working as an Anatomy Demonstrator at King’s College London Medical School and serving as an examiner for five years at the Royal College of Radiologists, London. Academic work includes peer-reviewed publications and contributions to medical textbooks.
