Biodata
Dr Ashutosh Joshi is a Senior Consultant and Lead of the Pain Service in Dept. of Anaesthesia at KTPH. He specialised in chronic pain management from University of Toronto. He is accredited by the World Institute of Pain and the American Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine and performs ultrasound and fluoroscopic-guided pain relieving procedures. Additionally, he has earned a Graduate Diploma in Palliative Medicine (GDPM) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and is adept at managing chronic pain patients who may require palliative care in both clinic and home settings.
Dr Joshi is a council member of the Pain Association of Singapore and promotes awareness through conferences and workshops. As the Director of the Chronic Pain Fellowship, he is also involved in teaching residents and specialists. He has received Service Champion Award, Teaching Excellence Award and NHG 2024 Quality Improvement Award for CPIP project on ‘Timely Chronic Pain Management'.
