Dr Joel Wong is an Associate Consultant in Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Department of General Surgery. He graduated from the Nanyang Technological University Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine in 2018. He then obtained his Master of Medicine (Surgery) from the National University of Singapore in 2023 and completed the NHG Health General Surgery Residency Programme in 2025. He is a current Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and an accredited specialist with the Singapore Medical Council.

He is actively involved in clinical research and medical education. He currently holds appointments as Clinical Tutor in both NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. His contributions have been recognized with various awards such as LKCMedicine Special Recognition Award for Education in 2024, NHG Health Teaching Award for Junior Doctors and NHG Residency Peer-Teaching Award in 2024.
