Biodata

Dr Angeline Tey is an Associate Consultant in the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine (RCCM) at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Her core clinical interests include intensive care medicine, chronic ventilation, and post-ICU care.

Dr Tey has a special interest in the management of critically ill patients and patients who require long-term and chronic ventilatory support. She is particularly passionate about care transition, with a focus on supporting patients as they move safely from hospital to home, especially those with ongoing medical or ventilatory needs.

Dr Tey obtained her MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 2016, and subsequently achieved MRCP (UK) and Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) in 2021. She is trained in Advance Care Planning and is a certified Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) certifier. She was part of the 11th cohort of the Singapore Chief Residents Programme conducted by the Healthcare Leadership College. She is also a Clinical Course Lead for the Year 5 OSCE for Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. In recognition of her contributions to medical education, she received the NHG Teaching Award for Junior Doctors in 2022 and the NUS Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence in 2023.

Dr Tey practises patient-centred, goal-concordant care, emphasising clear communication, continuity, and thoughtful transition planning across care settings.
