Strengthening Our Academic Health System: Four New ACPs Launch
5 January 2026

NHG Health and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) have launched the next four Academic Clinical Programmes (ACPs) for Infectious Diseases, Family Medicine, Respiratory Health, and Gastrointestinal Health under the NHG Health-LKCMedicine-NTU Academic Health System (AHS).

Building on the Skin Health and Rehabilitation Health ACPs launched earlier in January 2025, the four new ACPs will be led by esteemed and accomplished clinicians and scientists, who will leverage on the clinical strengths of NHG Health and the academic prowess of LKCMedicine/NTU. The ACPs will be bringing together multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals, scientists and engineers from across NHG Health institutions, LKCMedicine and the wider NTU to further integrate research, innovation, and education with clinical care.

The ACPs will develop collaborative research programmes and enhance medical and professional education, with the ultimate goals of contributing to better patient care, grooming a strong pipeline of talented clinicians and scientists and enhancing the standing of our institutions locally and internationally.
