Dr Wu Xiaotian is a dermatologist at the National Skin Centre, Singapore. He graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2017. He embarked on his residency training under the sponsorship of the National Healthcare Group (NHG) in 2018. He became a member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP) in 2020, and was conferred with his Masters of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from NUS in 2021.
During his residency, Dr Wu served as Chief Resident of the Dermatology Residency Programme in the 2023/2024 academic year and was a member of the Executive Committee of the NHG Residency Council, where he held the role of Resident Welfare Head. He was awarded the prestigious NSC–Ego QV Fellowship Award in 2024 and cinched the Best Candidate Award for the Dermatology In Training Examination in the same year. He completed his residency training in 2025 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in that year.
Dr Wu has a strong clinical interest in diagnosing and managing complex or bothersome skin diseases. He also manages a wide range of skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, urticaria, and autoimmune blistering diseases. Dr Wu believes in achieving good and sustained disease control, and adopts a patient-centric, goal directed approach to treatment to improve patients’ quality of life. In addition, he has a keen procedural interest and performs a range of dermatological procedures for both medical and cosmetic indications, including the management and excision of benign and malignant skin tumours.
Dr Wu is also passionate about medical education. He holds teaching appointments in both NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. In recognition of his dedication to medical education, he was awarded the Junior Doctor Teaching Award by NUS in 2020, 2021, and 2023.
He is also currently appointed as a member of the Outward Bound Singapore (OBS) Medical Advisory Panel.
