Dr Tay Kay Yaw completed his undergraduate training in Universiti Malaya, Malaysia in the year 1997 and obtained his MRCP(UK) in 2003 furthering his interest in neurology by undergoing the Advanced Specialist Training in Neurology at the National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) Singapore Tan Tock Seng Campus and was recognized by the Specialist Accreditation Board as a specialist in Neurology in 2008.
Dr Tay continued to further his study by obtaining the Human Manpower Development Program award to do a fellowship in Movement Disorders at the Toronto Western Hospital under the tutelage of Professor Anthony Lang in 2009. He completed his training in 2010 and came back to serve the neurology and movement disorders patients in Singapore.
Dr Tay speaks English and Mandarin.
