Dr Tan Hwee Huan graduated from the National University of Singapore and trained in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the Singapore General Hospital. She is currently Senior Consultant at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

She works with interdisciplinary teams in diabetes care and education.
