Dr Tan Chee Hian is a Consultant Dermatologist at the National Skin Centre (NSC), Singapore, with a clinical focus on photodermatology, psoriasis, and eczema. He is a member of the Eczema, Psoriasis, and Photodermatology Unit.

His primary subspecialty interest is in photodermatology, where he manages patients with photosensitivity disorders. He adopts a systematic approach to evaluation, including the assessment of environmental and lifestyle factors, and works closely with patients to develop practical, sustainable management strategies. He also cares for patients undergoing phototherapy and is trained in delivering photodynamic therapy, a recognised non-surgical treatment for certain skin cancers.

In addition, Dr Tan has a strong interest in the management of eczema and psoriasis, taking a patient-centred approach to long-term care.

Dr Tan is actively involved in medical education and has been recognised for his teaching contributions. He was awarded the NHG Teaching Award for Junior Doctors (2019), reflecting his commitment to mentoring and training junior clinicians. He remains engaged in academic activities and contributes to ongoing clinical education within the department.
