About

Dr Lim graduated from the National University of Singapore and obtained her membership in the Royal Colleague of Physicians in 2004.  She completed her speciality training in Dermatology in 2009.

She received the Ministry of Manpower HMDP scholarship 2009 for further training in Immunodermatology, drug allergy and eczema at the Medical University of Vienna, Department of Dermatology, Division of Immunology, Allergy and Infectious Disease, and Medical University of Graz, University Clinic for Dermatology and Venerology.

Besides general dermatology, she has subspecialty interests in immune-mediated dermatological conditions, cutaneous adverse drug reactions and complex dermatological conditions requiring hospital care. Some of the conditions which she treats include autoimmune blistering diseases, cutaneous forms of connective tissue diseases (eg lupus, dermatomyositis, vasculitis, scleroderma), eczema, drug exanthem, fixed drug eruption, Stevens-Johnson syndrome- toxic epidermal necrolysis, drug reactions with eosinophilia an systemic symptoms (DRESS) and acute generalised exanthematous pustulosis.  

Dr Lim is actively involved in medical education and currently serves as the Associate Programme Director for the National Senior Residency Dermatology Programme. She was previously the Clinical Educator Lead for the undergraduate education programme from 2013 to 2022. She holds adjunct academic appointments with the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, and Duke-NUS Medical School.

Her contributions have been recognised through multiple awards, including the Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence (NUS, AY2023/2024, AY2017/2018, AY2015/2016), NHG Education Leaders Award (2021), NHG Special Commendation Award (2020), NHG Outstanding Citizenship Award (2023), Long Service Award (2021), and the Ministry of Health COVID Resilience Medal (2023), reflecting her ongoing commitment to education, service, and professional excellence.
