Dr Lim Shi Yu Derek is a Consultant Dermatologist at the National Skin Centre (NSC), Singapore, where he is involved in general dermatology services and the management of patients across a wide range of skin conditions. His clinical practice includes both common presentations and more complex dermatological diseases that require ongoing care and follow-up.

His approach is practical and structured, with a focus on making clear diagnoses and developing treatment plans that are effective and sustainable in daily life. He places strong emphasis on patient understanding and adherence, recognising the importance of long-term care in achieving good outcomes.

Dr Lim works closely with colleagues across subspecialties when needed, particularly in cases that benefit from multidisciplinary input. He is attentive to the broader impact of skin disease on patients’ quality of life and aims to provide care that is both clinically sound and patient centred.
