About

Dr Liang Weiting Michelle is a Senior Consultant Dermatologist at the National Skin Centre (NSC), Singapore, with a clinical focus that spans dermatopathology and wound care. She is the Consultant-in-Charge of the Wound Clinic, where she oversees the management of patients with chronic and complex wounds requiring ongoing care and multidisciplinary input.

Her work in the Wound Clinic involves assessing a wide range of conditions, including non-healing ulcers and wounds associated with underlying medical issues. She works closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, with an emphasis on optimising healing outcomes and improving patients’ quality of life. Her approach is practical and patient-centred, particularly in cases that require long-term follow-up.

In addition to her clinical work in wound care, Dr Liang is actively involved in dermatopathology services. She contributes to the interpretation of skin biopsies and supports clinicopathological correlation, especially in cases where diagnosis may be challenging. This dual involvement allows her to bridge clinical care with diagnostic insight.

Dr Liang also participates in teaching and departmental activities and continues to build her expertise through ongoing professional development. She is engaged in academic discussions and contributes to clinical learning within the department.
