Dr Llewellyn Lee is currently a Senior Consultant and Deputy Head, Oculoplastics Service with NHG Eye Institute at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He completed a year-long fellowship in Seoul under the esteemed Professor Kim Yoon Duck at Samsung Medical Center, and has a sub-specialty interest in oculoplastics. He currently serves as Chair of the Oculoplastic Subspecialty Committee, College Of Ophthalmologists, Academy of Medicine, Singapore.

He is the immediate past Head of Training & Education, as well as the inaugural and immediate past Programme Director of the NHG Ophthalmology Residency Programme, where he oversaw the training of ophthalmologists that came through the department.

Dr Lee currently serves as the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) of NHG Residency. He has been awarded the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education International (ACGME-I) physician educator award, and has been an invited speaker at local and international ophthalmic and medical education conferences.​
