Dr Heng Yee Kiat is a Senior Consultant Dermatologist at the National Skin Centre (NSC), Singapore, with a key role in managing complex and hospital-based dermatological conditions. He is Chief of the Drug Eruption Unit and the Inpatient Dermatology Unit and serves as Head of the Skin Allergy and Therapy Clinic.
His clinical work focuses on patients with severe drug reactions, immune-mediated skin diseases, and acute dermatological conditions requiring inpatient care. He is closely involved in the management of patients with conditions such as drug hypersensitivity reactions and other serious skin disorders, where timely diagnosis and coordinated care are essential.
In his inpatient role, Dr Heng works closely with multidisciplinary teams across the hospital to manage patients with complex medical and dermatological needs. His approach is systematic and careful, particularly in cases that require close monitoring and escalation of care.
Beyond clinical work, Dr Heng is actively involved in teaching and training within the department. He is a regular speaker at local and regional meetings, where he shares his experience in managing complex dermatological conditions.
